The voice of invitation

With the year coming to a close, we tend to reflect on the year past, as well as look ahead.

My enneagram 3 personality loves a good goal, and yet I’m taking a more gentle approach this year.

Rather than resolving to start a new habit, I’m listening to the voice of invitation.

I love invitations because they are intriguing, and yet completely honor your ability to say “yes” or “no.”

There are some invitations that draw out our “yes.”

They call us to a higher place of living, and when we give our agreement, there is an ease about moving forward.

My invitation to you on the eve of the new year is to listen to the voice of invitation for you this coming year.

What are you being invited into?

More peace? More self-compassion? More love? New possibilities?

Perhaps more structure and ritual, or a new undertaking, or focusing on the long-game.

Whatever the voice of invitation is, how will you heed it?
